The Chelsea Ship's Bell Clock is Chelsea's signature timepiece. Production began on the Ship's Bell Clock over one hundred years ago - before the age of machines - when the art and craft of fine mechanical clock making reached it's zenith. Some of the finest timepieces the world has over seen were created in Europe and America at the time. Among today's treasured antiques are early models of Chelsea's Ship's Bell Clock. Remarkably, you can still acquire the original. Very little has changed in the way we make the Ship's Bell Clock today. Computerized machines may shape some of the hundreds of precision movement parts. But the greatest value comes from changes we haven't made. The clock's original balance wheel movement is unchanged. It can not be improved upon. The hand-slivering process we still use to create the clock's beautiful face was developed in the 19th century when sliver graced every table. Indeed, the Chelsea Ship's Bell Clock has achieved it's pre-eminent status today because to "improve" it means to preserve it's original integrity. The clock's classical design evokes the romance of the sea - the universal love of the limitless ocean. It's distinctive striking tones are warm yet command attention. Admired around the world, this masterpiece of the clockmaker's art becomes the focal point in any room.

The Chelsea Ship's Bell Clock dial has deeply etched and enameled numerals that can be seen from across a room. If you wish,the bells can be silenced at night. The Ship's Bell clock is numbered and registered in leather bound movement record books dating back to 1897. It comes packaged in a custom designed and manufactured gift box, and has a five year warranty.
