The Davis Mark 15 Sextant is molded of high impact-resistant, weather-resistant plastic and are ideal for training and adequate for ocean navigation.

The Davis Mark 15 Sextant has large, easily adjusted mirrors that use new instrument-quality glass and a special baked-on salt spray-resistant backing. Both mirrors have protective housings. The horizon mirror is half-silvered. No adjustment wrenches are required.

  • Fully-ribbed, three-circle sextant body adds platform strength and stability for greater measurement accuracy.
  • Highly visible, easy-to-read micrometer drum and vernier allow readings to 2/10 minutes of arc
  • Large, contoured handled designed for sure, steady grip is angled back for added control
  • Seven large sunshades allow complete, independent adjustment of shading density for horizon and index mirrors
  • Separate hooded site tube for glare-free sunshots
