The Davis Mark 25 Sextant is the "top of the line" Davis plastic sextant, the Mark 25 features the Beam Converger™ mirror, sometimes referred to as a "full horizon mirror".

Voyages to every corner of the globe have confirmed the outstanding quality and utility of the Mark 25. In fact, many experienced navigators prefer it to metal sextants for some very good reasons, not the least of which is its affordability. The Mark 25 replaces the conventional half-silvered mirror with a full field dielectric beam converger and combines horizon and celestial images in a single field for easy, reliable sights even in low light conditions. LED illumination floods the arc and drum with soft light for night use.
