The Maximum Montauk 2S Station contains Three Instruments:
- Maestro 2S Anemometer - Wind speed (over two scales) and direction with highest gust
- Mini-Max Thermometer - Outdoor temperature
- Predictor Barometer - Air pressure
Instrument Features:
Maestro 2S Anemometer:
Maestro 2S displays wind speed over two scales, wind direction and highest gust up to 120 MPH. A toggle switch at the bottom of the case changes readings from 120 MPH to 40 MPH scale. The 0-40 MPH scale provides a more active display of lower wind speeds.
Wind speed is self-powered by rooftop sensor. Wind direction is displayed across 16 compass points using LED’s which run off the supplied AC power pack.
Highest gust is saved on the unique Maximum Gust Register (can only be used with the 120 MPH scale), which allows you to monitor highest gusts even when you miss the actual wind blast.
60' cables, AC adaptor, sensors and mounting hardware supplied.
Mini-Max Thermometer:
Outside temperature is indicated inside with this remote-reading thermometer.
Move the toggle switch at the bottom of the case right or left and the indicator needle will move to high or low temperature since last reset.
Features dual scale (Fahrenheit and Celsius) and adjustable temperature minder to let you dial in current temperature and note any change.
AC adaptor, sensor and cable supplied.
Predictor Barometer:
Displays traditional barometer nomenclature (Rain/Change/Fair) as well as measurements over a three inch scale of mercury.
Features precision German movement, displayed behind cutaway dial. Re-settable needle pointer allows you to monitor changes in pressure.
