The dial background is the nautical chart of Mayport, FL. - also historically significant, as Mayport was her last active duty homeport.

The clock case is of brass porthole design, using authentic marine fittings and hinge, and is crafted from nearly 4 pounds of solid brass. The unique tidal movement is localized to the coastal region of the East coast of Florida, displaying the High Tide time differences between the major ports and waterways of that region.
