Windward Instruments is committed to your privacy. As part of our basic privacy and security policies, Windward Instruments does not require "registration" of any kind to browse our site, contact us, or to place an order.

We strictly limit the use of scripts in our company websites. One of the most common uses of scripting is to provide "animation", which may look nice - but scripting invites hackers, and may provide a "back door" to sensitive information.
 
We have physical, electronic, and managerial procedures in place to safeguard your information. All customer information is treated as confidential.Windward Instruments does not participate in bulk email solicitations, phone banks, or third party advertisement schemes. We appreciate your trust, and treat all information carefully and sensibly. We require partner companies, with whom we contract for services, to keep all information received from us confidential.

Windward Instruments utilizes 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) to safeguard your information, and to provide a secure connection when using our online shopping cart. 

Our online shopping cart is not "automated" - all credit card transactions are manually retrieved, reviewed, and processed, with random phone verification for additional security.

Credit Card Information
We do not store your credit card number or other sensitive information.
For this reason, we request you kindly provide us with your information, including credit card number, each time you make a secure purchase.

Sales Tax
Windward Instruments maintains our office in Indiana, and is required by State law to collect sales tax on all items that are sold, or shipped, to a location within Indiana. The current Indiana sales tax rate is 6%.
